At present, I am updating a column (that is set to append text), but when the workflow is run, and an approval comes in, the former text in the column is replaced by the new information. My workflow involves building a string with the "Last Approver Comments", then updating the Item with the collected dynamic string. Any suggestions? It seems like there should be some sort of built-in system to permanently preserve all workflow history as a metadata field.
