Create a Site - setting permissions question

When I utilize the 'create a site' workflow I am given the option to set the site owner.  I've noticed that including more than one owner causes the workflow to error.  Is there any way to either:

    1) Set multiple people to be owners

    or

    2) Set other permissions on the newly created site (member, visitors, etc.)?

Upon investigation, number 1 turns out to be a minor bug. We will fix that.

For number 2, you can use the SharePoint web services. Check this forum article for more info: http://connect.nintex.com/forums/thread/171.aspx

    Cameron,

I'm a Nintex Newb, so go easy. I get that we can use your OTB “create a site” to provision a new site and even set the site owner.  Can we define the site template we want to use for the site?  Can we use specific web services to create a new MOSS groups that follows a naming convention (i.e., TEX_WG_[name of site])?  What about setting the group access level to creator?  What about loading users into the group by pulling their names from a user field in our site request list?

I get that web services exist.  What I want to know is can you show us customers that it will work?  Will you work flow gods take the time to show us how it's done by building a proof of concept snippet and posting up some code?

Re: Create a Site - setting permissions question

I'll see what we can do for you. If we put together an example, it will need to have a degree of generality to it so that other people can use it as a guide too. Either way it should be enough to help you configure your own examples.
