    datetime issue on reports

    Hi

We are trialing nintex reporting but are unable to run any reports at present. We get and error about "the conversion of a char data type to a datetime data type resulted in an out-or-range datetime value". Our solutions page shows the solution deployed in american format and our site is using uk format, could that be the problem. If so any ideas how we can get around it?

    Re: datetime issue on reports

    Hi Ray,

Please send through the application event logs to support@nintex.com using these instructions:

    * Load up the Event Viewer on the server.

    * Right click the "Application" tab in the left frame.

    * Click "Save Log File As..."

    * Select the "Save as type" to be "CSV (Comma delimited) (*.csv)"

    * Choose a name and save.

    * Zip the file.

    * Change the file extension from "zip" to "abc" so it gets through email servers.

    Re: datetime issue on reports

Thanks Cameron, i have mailed the event log to support. There didnt appear to be anything in there relating to the errors i was getting even thought there were some other nintex errors in there that i would appreciate your advice on. I have attached a screenshot of the errors im getting along with the event log to help with the analysis.

Late yesterday i discovered a way in which to change the datetime format of our central admin from us to uk and that seemed to remove some of the errors i was getting but i am still unable to run a report. the mail to support explains it all but if you need further info then let me know

    Cheers

    Re: datetime issue on reports

    Hi there,

Our farm installation is showing exactly the same errors described.   I previously noticed that the DB's are all in English (United States) yet the regional settings on our sharepoint servers were in English (UK).  I changed the settings for the collector profile on each of the servers but no difference.

Any chance you could post the solution?

    Cheers...
