I think this is a
simple question but i am having trouble wording it.
Here is the simple

If you submit
the same InfoPath form twice, and you have the overwrite box checked, will that
mess up your progress on the current workflow?
Here is the detailed
try:
Let's say a workflow
kicks off when a InfoPath form is submitted. The second step is for someone to
approve that form. so they open the form, click a custom approve button on the
form to set a value of a field on the form. and then you want them to click a
different custom form button that says "save" instead of using the
ribbon save command. Now as for Infopath button actions you only really have
submit. so you choose submit along with your option box to overwrite any forms
with the same name. My question is "Will this screw up your workflow that
you are in the middle of because it views the overwrite as a new form
altogether and not as an update to an existing form?"
