Testing NA2010 - create a custom data set with a self created field out of a content type?

Hi there!

I'm testing NA2010 for our company - i've read the whole manual, but seems that i have not understood this piece of software.

What I am searching for is a report like "Content Creators". This report ist drilled down to a special content type - so far it works perfect.

But this content type has a self created field "Person responsible" (User field) - and i want to have a report based on this "Person responsible" , and not based on the "normal" Sharepoint Creator.

Can i handle such a report with NA2010 ?

Hope my description is not too complicated.

i have insyalled Analytics but when i try to configure it i get the following error:

The expression prefix 'NAResources' was not recognized. Please correct the prefix or register the prefix in the <expressionBuilders> section of configuration.

Troubleshoot issues with Microsoft SharePoint Foundation.

Home page web part use and tracking user journey

OK, here's the question people and I'm hoping someone can help...

Is it possible to find out how successful a web part on our home page has been, as in how many clicks it had? What happens once the web part has been removed (as it could be a short term announcement), is the data lost?

Also, how do I find a list of referers for a particular site within the master site collection, so I can track user journey? My boss would like to know how people are moving from items on the home page to other areas of the main site / other sites.

List Workflow Creators report

Hi,
According to the Summary of Reports Manual, the List Workflow Creators report displays a count by user of the number of workflows created. Does this mean every workflow ever created by the user, even if the workflow no longer exists? If yes, how do I get an accurate count of the number of existing wf's by a user?

The count does not appear to include previous versions. Last Friday I deleted a bunch of versions and this morning the count is the same.

All the reports I create show domain\userID in the User ID field, not a name (John Smith) as all your examples show. How can I get the User ID field to display a name?

Size of data collected daily

Hello all.

We've recently launched an internet and DRM using SP2010 and have NA2010 installed for the intranet side of things.

At the moment the data collection is set to the defaults, which is mostly monthly. I've asked our IT team to change this to daily, overnight when the system isn't being used. They've asked how much extra space it'll take up on our server to store the data daily.

Can anyone give me an idea of how much space will be used please?

Attempted to perform an unauthorized operation in event log

Hello,

we have errors in event log. It seems, that is a security problem. Is there a way, how to determine on which object is problem, or any way, how to solve errors in event log?

Nintex Analtycics account is not farm account, but it is in farm admins group and has dbo on all SharePoint DBs.

Error in event log:

My question is if it is possible to build a report where I can see which documents are downloaded AND by which (sharepoint) user?

Hi guys,

We finally started configuring Analytics 2010 on our sharepoint 2010 site, the configuration wizard ran fine, although there are couple of serious issues now:

1. In Nintex Analytics home page(url/Nintex%20Analytics/Forms/NAReports.aspx) , I’m not getting options like “permissions”, “report” etc in the Ribbon even with the system a/c.(PFA screenshot). Am i looking at the right place, and how do we get the report views, like the daily reports. So far we are not able to view any reports. please refer to the screen shot.

2. In Central Admin > NintexAnalytics> global settings option throws an error “list does not exist” (PFA screenshot) is this a common/expected error.

FYI the “SharePoint Foundation Collector Service:” is running and the crawler is also active.

We are in the evaluation period on this one and need urgent advice.

Nintex Analytics 2010 Installation Error.

Hi,

We are currently installing the “Nintex Analytics 2010” product on our test environment for a test run.

However currently we are encountering an error while running the Config. Wizard(it says "In valid license; Unable to find assembly Nintex.incensing.Forms, version=1.0.0.0, culture = Neutral, PublicKeyToken= 913f6bae0ca5ae12"), it’s not letting us Import the license and move forward.

We have downloaded the latest bytes from :

http://www.nintex.com/en-US/Products/Pages/DownloadRequestComplete.aspx?l=English&v=NA.2010&d=true as advised by Nintex admin.

We are using our "NewCrest Mining - Nintex Analytics 2010 Standard License - Development.nlf" .

Would appreciate a speedy advice!

We recently upgraded to SharePoint 2010 and are using Analytics 2010. This error appears every 30 second in the application log on the application server. The reports appear to be working, except for the System Reports. How can I fix this and get rid of this error?

Apply button missing from Select Data Window

I am trying to create my first report and when I choose Select Data the window appears. I select an activity, but there is no Apply button to complete the selection. All I have is the ? and X to close. My userID has full control permissions for Analytics. What am I missing?

Unable to create Nintex Report Center

Hello,

I'm trying Nintex Anlytics but I'm unable to create Nintex Report Center. I read the documentation that says "The Nintex Report Center is created during the installation of Nintex Analytics 2010."

But when I go in the Global Settings, there isn't a Nintex Report center so I tried to create it. But when i filled site url and document library name, i had the error "List does not exist" and Global Settings is unavailable.

I follow this post to get access to Global Settings : http://connect.nintex.com/forums/thread/18200.aspx.

I have access to a Nintex Site Analytics page where I can create report but there isn't data.

So my question is : How can i create the report center ?

Uninstall Nintex Analytics 2010

Hi,

I've uninstalled Nintex Analytics, but missed to launch the wizard the second time. I've removed the wsp files manually, uninstalled the executables through Configuration Panel > Programs, deleted registry keys i've found with Nintex in the name. Yet, when I reinstall and launch the configuration wizard, I always get the floowing error : "Cannot open database 'NintexAnalytics_Config" requested by the login, as if Nintex detected that the configuration was already done.

I'd like to clean the installation to start from zero.

Has someone already encountered this issue ? Do you have a solution ?

Nintex Analytics Ribbon Tab Not Showing

When I create a new dashboard and add a Nintex Analytics webpart, the error “the specified data set is missing or malfunctioning” shows up. I can’t add any reports to the web part because the ribbon tab does not appear. I have full permissions to the Report Center.

Has anyone seen this issue and manage to identify the issue?

Site Statistics Dashboard Not showing anything

Hi there :

I am very new to Nintex Analytics 2010. I have installed it on my SharePoint Environment and I am trying to get the Site Statistics Dashboard up and running for a particular site.

My idea is if I activate the Nintex Analytics Site Report Center on that particulat site, it would start to work. However when I navigate to Site Statistics Dashboard, can't see any data or anything in the page.

Do I need to do some configuration somewhere?
