Event log error message for timer job

Hello,

I've just published my first form to Nintex Live and I notice that since I have done that I am getting the following error:

The Execute method of job definition Nintex.Forms.SharePoint.LiveForms.Service.LiveFormsJobDefinition (ID b9399a6e-4102-4da4-a337-932068904fd8) threw an exception. More information is included below.

The request channel timed out while waiting for a reply after 00:00:59.7659865. Increase the timeout value passed to the call to Request or increase the SendTimeout value on the Binding. The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a longer timeout.

Quite regularly in my server event log.

It seems to happen randomly. I'm assuming it's a timeout with the server contacting Nintex Live to look for form submissions. How can I increase the timeout value (if that is indeed the problem)?

{Common:TaskFormLiveURL} not replaced with actual URL

We have a request data action in a workflow with a custom Nintex Forms task form which we would like to publish to Nintex Live. I've set up the Nintex Live settings for the form and when I save it I get the "Add the Approval URL (via Nintex Live) reference into the Task Notification to provide assignees with the URL to access the form through Nintex Live." message. I then add the "Approval URL (via Nintex Live)" reference to the task notification but when I get the email it comes through as the {Common:TaskFormLiveURL} placeholder instead of the actual Nintex Live URL.

Security Question - Nintex Forms Live

Before we begin testing Nintex Live with a form from our test server, I'm wondering what security measures Nintex has in place to prevent a couple concerns:

1. Malicious scripting/code inserted into the form fields of a form.

2. DoS-style attack where user/s upload so many forms at once so as to choke our server when downloading the forms.

These are minor concerns--any other potential threats or exposure we're facing by using this hosted service? Otherwise I love the idea and can't wait to start uploading forms!

Feature definition missing for Feature "NintexLiveAdminLinks"

Hello @all,

in the TraceLogs (SharePointLogs) I´m getting the following error:

Exception thrown whil determining definition for Teature with ID xxxxxxxxx: Microsoft.SharePoint.SPException: Failed to find the XML file at location '14\Template\Feature\NintexLiveAdminLinks\feature.xml'

(Process is PowerShell.exe)

We don´t use the Nintex Live features, they´re disabled in CA.
Nintex Workflow is installed at two FrontEndServer, both of them doesn´t host the Central Administration Application. The CA works at another Application Server.
While the installation I didn´t have any trouble and the installing was finished without errors.

Anyone who could help me?

At the moment it is not possible to attach files to a Live form but is this something that is being reviewed? I think this would be extremely useful. Does any have any clever work arounds for this functionality?

I have just installed and hooked up a workflow between a blog site and wordpress. I was wondering what I am missing as the text flows over with no problems, but images seem to not post. HAs anyone tried to use this feature yet?

Query string in nintex live URL

Hi all,

I'm currently thinking out a solution where I think Nintex live in combination with Nintex forms can be of real added value.

Only thing that I don't know if this is possible is using query strings together with the nintex live url.

This is the situation:

In the first step, the user needs to click on a company logo on a page with several logo's in it. All the logo's of the url should link to the same nintex form, but I do need to know (in the form) on which logo the user has clicked.

Therefore I wanted to use querystring parameters so I could read them in nintex form.

Is this possible?

I don't want to add the logo's in the nintex form because the users need to be able to upload more logo's without changing the form.

Workflow history Unknown Error

I am currently working with Nintex 2007 in SharePoint 2007. I am new to Nintex and when I click on Workflow History I get the following error:

Error opening Workflow History

1. Click on a workflow - View Workflow History (for example a Quotation WF):

Any idea what's going on?

How "Nintex Live" can help to translate texts (from English to Russian)?

I read about Bing, but is it possible to send documents (MS Word for example) to Bing translator and receive translated document with same formatting?

Maybe another services can resolve this problem?

By the way, where I can read list of all services (and their functionality) which available in Nintex Live?

What SharePoint licences are needed when publishing Nintex forms to Internet

Would you please explain what kind of licences/if - do the organizations need to publish the sharepoint List form into the cloud (to allow anonymous users fill and submit the data in form)? Do we explicitly need the external connector?

Scenario:

Organization has its own internal portal (SharePoint Server 2010, published internally within the organization). But they need to allow external customers (outside the domain, not registered users, with anonymous access only and no access to internal portal) to fill out a custom list form and submit - for example Application Form to participate on an event organized by an organization

Do they need external connector? In what environment exactly are Nintex Live Forms published? How is it licensed (if it is a requirement)

My first action was to upload a file to my dropbox-account. By design no problem but, how to authenticate?

Is there already a guide for all those cool new actions?

With NINTEX Forms I have created a form where users can write a message and post it on Yammer. When the message is send, the users receives an email with the question to authorize NINTEX Live for posting the Yammer message. This al goes fine. In my Yammer account, under applications, NINTEX Live is active.

The problem is that the message is not posted. Please help me out.

Hi connecties,

I'm highly interested in using the Live service for publishing Forms. So what are the technical (network) specifications for publishing forms and receiving the content? Do I need to open my firewall, enable receiving eMails, is it just a regular pull and access to public internet from the server side is enough... ?

My form is published and working on the Live environment, but filling in a form does not populate my list.

Integrations with Google Apps?

We recently stood up a new Sharepoint 2010 server and have purchased NIntex Workflow 2010. While we are still in the very beginning stages, I was curious if there are any thoughts or plans for connecting to Google Apps with Nintex Live? We are currently evaluating migrating our Exchange services to the cloud and are comparing Office365 and Google Apps... I know there are already some integration points with on-site Sharepoint / Nintex and Office365, but was wondering about Google Apps as well...

With my company, going outside the firewall is not an option. But is it possible to host Nintex Live paired with Nintex Workflow 2010 on a SP 2010 Shared Services farm that published to consumer farms? This way I wouldn't have to have Nintex WF 2010 on any of the consumer farms, but rather have one location for the Nintex databases.

Proxy with Authentication

We use the good ole Squid proxy with AD authentication..

So is it possible to pass authentication ? Or am I going to have to beg IT to allow the liveservices url through un checked :)
