Then on each branch of this action have a Request Data action. Depending on the result of your set a condition you can have the Request data action be configured to use either the Production Outage or Disaster Recovery content type. This way the user will be given the appropriate request data form to fill in depending on the event type selected.

Re: Workflow question

I put in the choice field and was able to have it create a record. I have 3 content types: Event type, Production Outage and Disaster Recovery. What I really need is to be able to:

1. Put my choice in a form called "Event type" using the field "Event type" to collect the answer.

2. Based on the answer, I would like for the workflow to pull up either the Production Outage content type or the Disaster Recovery content type for the end user to fill in.

--Susie

Re: Workflow question

Hi,

If you have a choice field where the user input is stored you can then use the set a field condition aciton to determine which path your workflow will take.

Can you please clarify exactly what you mean by "set a condition that pulls up one content type if "type 1" and another content type is "type 2" does this mean depending on the selection create an item based on a certain content type?

Workflow question

I have an "event type" content type that simply asks "type 1?" or "type 2?". I would like to be able to have the nintex workflow set a condition that pulls up one content type if "type 1" and another content type is "type 2".

Can this be done using Nintex?

Thanks in advance - Susan
