Attachment to "Send Notification" task

    I want to attach a word document to a notification.   The attachment is a word document that is stored in a document library on the same site.   The attachment is static - each notification gets the same attachment.

     

    When I added the attachment, I provided the URL for content already in sharepoint.

    When the WF runs, it errors out saying it encountered an illegal character in path.

    What did I do wrong?

    can you provide the URL to the document for us to look at (omit the server name)  ? Are there any spaces in your document name ?

    or is it that the url you have copied in to Sharepoint contains the encoding eg %20 where spaces should be ?
