Problem with LazyApproval after April 2012 CU installed

It looks like there's an issue to do with receiving email in to SharePoint for LazyApproval after installing this CU:
    http://blog.christian-heindel.de/2012/05/01/april-2012-cu-causing-problems-with-incoming-e-mails-in-sharepoint-2010/

The above link has a solution for fixing the issue for mail enabled lists/libraries but it my case the error I'm seeing in the ULS logs about receiving email to the central admin site (since I suppose that's where Nintex runs) and I'm not able to set a quota on this through the central admin site.

Has anyone else installed this CU and seeing this issue? Might there be any other workarounds pending a fix from Microsoft?

Re: Problem with LazyApproval after April 2012 CU installed

We have found that the fix is this:

First get the storagemaximumlevel for Central Administration using these PowerShell commands (insert your Central Admin URL):

    $ca = get-spsite -identity http://Servername:CAport

    $ca.quota.storagemaximumlevel

A numeric result will be returned.

Then set a bigger maximum for it using the same command but with a number bigger than the result.

    $ca.quota.storagemaximumlevel=80000000

    • No IISRESET is required after running the script.
    • Updating the Storage Maximum Level is known to resolve the issue.
    • Items currently in the mail “drop-box” will start processing as soon as the timer job starts.

Found the same issue and I confirm that increasing Central Admin Quota via Powershell fixes it.

    We just discovered this too:

    http://blogs.technet.com/b/steve_chen/archive/2012/04/25/3494397.aspx

    Attention!

There are regressions discovered in the April 2012 CU! Currently the hotfix is in recall from all download servers,

So if you have downloaded but not installed yet, please do not use this CU until next updated version is available!

In case you have already installed the CU and you observe heavy issues or inaccessible lists, Webs and/Or Site Collections, please call MS Support for assistance!

Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.

    This only impacts SharePoint 2010!
