Request data action leaves empty variables

I have a problem when I request data from a user and store the results in a buch of variables. Some instances of this work OK, but some set variables to null values. I need advice how to track down the root couse of these intermittent failures.

I have already checked: windows Event logs, Sharepoint logs and they provided no clue (critical error).  overall perfomance of the system is fine. no major CPU/Disk IO/Memory congesttions are present.

    Regards,

    Anton.

Re: Request data action leaves empty variables

I would like to point out that it started to happen after Nintex was upgraded to 11300

Among other things, I noticed that the completed tasks are always last modified by the sharepoint service account (not the user, who started the workflow)

When users claim the task assigned to the group, they are visible in Modified By field, but when they complete tasks, SHAREPOINT\system always populates.

    Hi rugubara,

When you say it works sometimes and doesn't others, is there any pattern?

Does this happen for the same workflow?

Or is it that it works for WorkflowA all the time and doesn't work at all for WorkflowB?

Have you tried to delete the request data action and just add a new on and configure it to see if that helps?
