Problem with Sharepoint list after Nintex upgrade

    Hi,
I updated the version of Nintex as explained in this site.
After this operation some views are going wrong with this exception:

"Unable to display this Web Part. To solve the problem, open the Web page in an HTML editor compatible with Microsoft SharePoint Server, such as Microsoft SharePoint Designer. If the problem persists, contact your Web server administrator
    ID correlation:7941d7da-8bea-479c-a143-400ecd28023c"

If I search in the server log that id this is what i found

    Error while executing web part: System.StackOverflowException: Operation caused a stack overflow.     at Microsoft.Xslt.NativeMethod.CheckForSufficientStack()     at <xsl:apply-templates mode="RenderView">(XmlQueryRuntime , XPathNavigator )     at <xsl:template match="View" mode="full">(XmlQueryRuntime , XPathNavigator , String )     at <xsl:template match="View" name="View_Default_RootTemplate" mode="RootTemplate">(XmlQueryRuntime , XPathNavigator , String )     at <xsl:template match="/">(XmlQueryRuntime )     at Root(XmlQueryRuntime )     at System.Xml.Xsl.XmlILCommand.Execute(Object defaultDocument, XmlResolver dataSources, XsltArgumentList argumentList, XmlWriter writer, Boolean closeWriter)     at System.Xml.Xsl.XmlILCommand.Execute(IXPathNavigable contextDocument, XmlResolver dataSo... 7941d7da-8bea-479c-a143-400ecd28023c

If I uninstall the new version the error disappear. Ho can I solve this problem? It's important because I can't upgrade the version and I can't use some new functionality like disable task.

Re: Problem with Sharepoint list after Nintex upgrade

    Hi,

we have encountered a simalar problem. Since installing Nintex on our SharePoint Farm, the search center does not display the search result web parts anymore. Digging though the logs we found the same Stack Overflow Exception.

Does Nintex alter the XSL Tranformations in any way?

    Cheers,
    Robert

Re: Problem with Sharepoint list after Nintex upgrade

    Hi rdraeger,

I don't believe the NW upgrade or the product itself should affect out of the box SharePoint web parts.  There's no XSL transformations that I'm aware of that would do this.

I'd recommend contacting Nintex Support : Nintex Support and click on the Support Request button.

Re: Problem with Sharepoint list after Nintex upgrade

Did you find the solution for this Michele? We just installed Nintex Workflow 2010 last week and have been noticing the same error periodically over the last few days. I will contact support but also find it odd that a Nintex installation would affect the XSL Transformation time and just wondering if anyone has confirmed this is the case?

Re: Problem with Sharepoint list after Nintex upgrade

We are seeing this as well, and did do a recent Nintex upgrade.  I'm not sure Nintex is root cause though.  This post points to a bug that is fixed in recent CUs:

I suppose if some Nintex process is slowing down regular XSLT transformations, this could be a secondary cause.

Re: Problem with Sharepoint list after Nintex upgrade

    Hello,

This is an issue we have seen come up recently, and our development team has created a diagnostic build (2.3.3.6) that they believe will resolve the issue.

Please contact Nintex Support at support@nintex.com for additional details on this build, and where to download it.
