I have been trying to get around this issue for several days now. In a Nintex 2010 workflow, when referencing the Manager's Display Name in an e-mail notification, nothing appears in the e-mail for the manager's name.
Does anyone else have issues with this?
I have tried the LDAP Query and it will return the domain\username, but I can't get the username to convert to text (our local set up uses the usernameID.)
If I use the {Common:manager} it also returns the domain\username in the e-mail.
However, when I use the {Common:manager} in the SharePoint list, it shows the manager's display name.
Is there a Nintex link that's broken or is this a known issue? I have tried all kinds of work arounds trying to use the sAMAccountName, distinguished Name, displayName, managerName, etc. Nothing returns the text value of the user.
If nothing else, is there a way to convert it?
Please help!
