• Re: Need to find a way to expand a group on a task item.

I understand what you're saying, but I've ran into several situations like this now. I think it would be possible to create a new action that would act as a For loop (FOR I = 1 to [number of people in the group]) and let us use existing actions for each member. Am I making any sense?

Hi, yes, I see this is true for the "get approval" action. But what I"m looking for is a similiar behaviour for my own task list when using the 'create item' action.

  • Need to find a way to expand a group on a task item.

I have an item on Task1 assigned to a usergroup (AD security group). I'd like to define a work flow that would create a copy of Task1 for every member of the usergroup. Any ideas?

  • Re: Storing Nintex Workflows in Sharepoint Templates

Does Nintex have a workflow to import a workflow to another list? Essentially, I've a master list of attributes for a ton of libraries that need to be created, the thought was to run a workflow in this list so that the new libraries are created based on a templated library that has specific nintex workflows. Since the workflows ...

Love it when I actually solve my own problems. Here's what I did. 1) made sure the list was was stable and copied to another list and / or site. 2) Added a dummy column called "forceworkflow" 3) Created the workflow that I needed to run on all items in the list - set the workflow to start on 'changes' 4) ...

  • Running a workflow on all items in a list

I'm working through a data conversion and would like to run the same workflow on all items in a list. Rather than going through each item and starting the workflow manually, is there an easy way to trigger a workflow on all items?

When I utilize the 'create a site' workflow I am given the option to set the site owner. I've noticed that including more than one owner causes the workflow to error. Is there any way to either: 1) Set multiple people to be owners or 2) Set other permissions on the newly created site (member, visitors, ...
