• Re: Proactive error handling

Hi hoshy, yes this is supported. You can configure 'workflow error and notification messages' in Site Actions, Site Settings, Nintex Workflow - Message templates (in 2010: Workflow error notifications). The default setting is to send those messages to workflow initiator, but you can change this to a specific email address, e.g. ...

  • Re: override step

Hi Christy, then the easiest way is to terminate the existing workflow and restart the workflow manually. The termination would send a notification to current task owner that approval is no longer required and the corresponding workflow task would be deleted. The restart would start the workflow in the latest instance so your solutions ...

  • Re: override step

Hi Christy, if you have enabled delegation for this workflow task you could delegate this task manually. For this you would need to open the workflow task, click delegate and specify new responsible and a comment.

  • Re: Workflow Variable data

Hi ank, as your workflows are running in different list you have to use the web service 'StartWorkflowOnListItem' for this. This web service is documented in Nintex Workflow SDK (Download: http://connect.nintex.com/files/folders/sdk/entry122.aspx). First you will have to define the necessary start data in workflow '3D'. ...

  • Re: Error querying user profile. User Not Found: Could not load profile data from the database.

Hi Mike, yes, the the format can cause this error. To avoid this you need to provide user data in format 'Domain\Account'. So I see two alternatives for you: 1. You keep your field of type 'Single line of text' and store user data in format 'Domain\Account'. 2. (And better) you create a user field of type 'Person or ...

  • Re: Store ApprovalURLs

Hi sirup, I assume your workflow tasks are stored in list 'Workflow Tasks'. Instead of web part 'My Workflow Tasks' add another web part and point it to list 'Workflow Tasks' and view 'My Tasks'. Can you edit one of those tasks when you click on Title (link)?

  • Re: Notifications instead of emails

Hi sirup, in this case simply create a new view in your list 'Workflow Tasks' and define it to show only items assigned to [Me]. This will allow person logged in to see all workflows tasks assigned to him. Then add a web part to your page and point to this view.

  • Re: Store ApprovalURLs

Hi sirup, I recomment to use the web part 'My Worflow Tasks' for this purpose. In this web part the logged in user will see only pending workflow tasks assigned to him. To respond to a task the user has simply to on the item, take a descission and save it. Once the response has been saved, the item will no longer be shown in ...

  • Re: Regular expression - I think

Hi Moniksepu88, in SharePoint it is possible to establish cross links between list. In your case you could create a lookup field in List A pointing to a field (e.g. ID)in SubListA1 and vise versa using lookup fields. You could use Nintex Workflows to update this lookup fields when new entries in SubListA1 are ...
